As the Head of Creator Marketing & Partnerships, you will lead the signing and onboarding of Creators to Spotpass, allowing them to earn more money from the content they create. To succeed in this role, it's critical you understand the needs of Creators, the challenges they face and the current methods of monetisation.
You may already be in the Creator Economy and looking to broaden your horizons, or you may be in sales or marketing and looking for the excitement and satisfaction of contributing to a vibrant internet economy with a start-up fintech business.
We're Searching For Someone Who:
- Has a strong network in the Creator Economy and/or with supporting platforms (like Substack, Medium, Youtube, Patreon, Twitch etc.)
- Deeply understands monetisation in the Creator Economy and the audience development process for Creators
- Can build win-win opportunities with multiple parties to make partnerships a success
- Has proven digital marketing expertise
- Solves problems creatively
- Is passionate about helping Creators make more money
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Building relationships with Creators and helping them generate more revenue from their content
- Managing inbound marketing activities and developing Spotpass content to attract Creators
- Acting as a voice of the customer for the Creator Economy in product feature prioritisation
- Discovering new Creators and new types of content to monetise with Spotpass, and developing tactics to attract them
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in the Creator Economy, media/publishing, entertainment or related field
- Proficiency in online marketing, including social media, and content marketing
- Deep understanding of or experience in the Creator Economy and its platforms and ecosystems, including: streamers, video creators, artists, journalists, writers, musicians, developers, gamers and podcasters
- Excellent written and spoken English skills and a tertiary degree (or equivalent experience)
- Direct hands-on sales and partnerships experience
The following skills are desirable:
- Experience working in a fintech or early-stage start-up
- Experience in publishing, news / media & digital marketing platforms
- Knowledge / experience with Hub Spot CRM
- Knowledge of or experience with Wordpress CMS (Content Management Systems)
- An interest in NFT’s, block-chain and DRM (Digital Rights Management)
